Hawaii Outboard Repair provides professional mobile outboard diagnostics, repair, and maintenance anywhere on Oahu. We travel to marinas, docks, boat ramps, and residential locations when access allows. Our goal is to eliminate unnecessary towing, delays, and downtime by servicing your boat on site.

OUTBOARDS WE SERVICE

We work on all types of outboard engines, including two-stroke and four-stroke motors, carbureted and EFI systems, older mechanical engines, and modern computer-controlled outboards. We service both single-engine and multi-engine boats. If it’s an outboard, we can diagnose it. If you’re unsure whether your engine or setup applies, submit a service request and ask.

MOBILE SERVICE – ALL OF OAHU

We provide island-wide mobile service across Oahu. Service locations include marinas and harbors, boat ramps, private docks and slips, and residential driveways when appropriate. Travel and access requirements vary by location, so please include boat location and access details when submitting your request.

DIAGNOSTICS & TROUBLESHOOTING

Proper diagnostics are the foundation of every repair. We identify the root cause of issues before recommending repairs or replacing parts. Common issues we diagnose include no-start or hard-start conditions, rough idle or stalling, loss of power or poor performance, warning alarms and fault codes, electrical and charging problems, and fuel delivery or contamination issues. Repairs are not quoted until diagnostics are completed.

MAINTENANCE & PREVENTIVE SERVICE

We provide routine and preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and extend engine life in Hawaii’s saltwater environment. Maintenance services may include annual or periodic service, cooling system service including impellers, fuel system inspection and service, lubrication and adjustments, and visual and operational inspections. Maintenance needs vary by engine type, usage, and condition.

ELECTRICAL & SYSTEM SERVICE

We specialize in outboard-related electrical and system diagnostics, including starting and charging system issues, battery and cable diagnostics, electrical connection and corrosion issues, and sensor or system fault troubleshooting. Electrical problems are common in marine environments and require proper testing to avoid misdiagnosis.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Not every job fits neatly into a category. If you need help with a service not listed, including inspections, reliability checks, or other outboard-related work, submit an inquiry with details and we’ll let you know if it’s something we can assist with.

WHAT WE DO NOT SERVICE

We do not service inboard engines. We do not perform trailer repairs. We do not service personal watercraft (jet skis). If you’re unsure whether your request applies, ask before scheduling.
