Can you read Evinrude fault codes?
Yes. On Evinrude engines that support it we connect the Evinrude Diagnostics software to read fault codes, engine hours, hours by RPM and alarm history, and to test sensors.
How often should a Evinrude outboard be serviced in Hawai‘i?
At least once a year. We do a full yearly service every 200 hours or 1 year, whichever comes first, with a new water pump impeller every time, plus the 100-hour service Evinrude calls for if you run a lot of hours. Each model's factory schedule is in our Evinrude and Johnson service guides below.
Do you use genuine Evinrude parts?
We use OEM (factory) parts or parts of equal quality unless you ask otherwise. Parts usually take about a week to reach Hawaiʻi, so we book the visit when they arrive.
